Mr Pusskins, Sam's first hilarious book for Orchard, won the Booktrust Early Years Award for Best Pre-School Book, was also a New York Times Bestseller and was shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Award and Sheffield Book Prize. Mr Pusskins has since returned for more fun in Mr Pusskins and Little Whiskers and Mr Pusskins Best in Show. Sam's brilliant Whoops-a-Daisy World series for Orchard is proving to be a real winner with children (and adults too!), and it all started with the first story, Doctor Miaow's Big Emergency. Sam has written and illustrated a number of novelty books including What Colour Are Your Knickers? for Gullane, and the Sainsbury's Books for Babies Award winner, Happy Dog, Sad Dog for Little Tiger Press. Sam lives in Brighton.
