She is Distinguished Professor of English, French, and Comparative Literature at the Graduate School of the City University of New York. Victoria Combalia has been a Professor of Contemporary Art at the University of Barcelona since 1974. She is a monthly contributor to "El Pais "and a founding member of the Catalan Association of Art Critics.
