Shot by Vogue as a girl, Amber Jane Butchart has turned a lifelong love affair with dressing up into a career as a fashion historian, writer and broadcaster. Lecturer at the London College of Fashion, she has appeared on BBC 1 & 2, Radio 4, Channel 4 and Sky Arts, and was Head Buyer for vintage clothing chain Beyond Retro. She has DJed for Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood and Louis Vuitton, and has spoken at the University of the Arts London, the V&A, the ICA, the British Museum, the RA, the British Library and SHOWstudio.
