From joining the BMC team to crossing the finish line, award-winning journalist Rupert Guinness reveals the fascinating lead up and preparation behind Cadel's historic victory in the 2011 Tour de France. The campaign to win the Tour de France begins the day the last Tour finishes. Guiness takes us through the process of recruiting the best riders, the meticulous planning, the training camps, the equipment testing, the psychological preparation and the practice rides. He recounts the stages of the race and reveals how the the team supported Cadel's incredible all-or-nothing performance-the tactics they employed and the challenges that they had to overcome.
