Bruce Pascoe is a school teacher, the director of Commonwealth Australian Studies project, and the publisher and editor of "Australian Short Stories" quarterly magazine as well as a board member of the Victorian Aboriginal Corporation for Languages and a member of the Wathaurong Aboriginal cooperative. He is the recipient of the Australian Literature Award and the winner of the Radio National Short Story Competition.
