Author description

Randall Reeves has carried out fieldwork on marine mammals for the last 25 years. Brent Stewart is a Senior Research Biologist at Hubbs-Seaworld Research Institute. Philip Clapham directs a research programme on the larger whales and James Powell is an expert on the sirenians. Pieter Folkens is one of the finest contemporary illustrators of marine mammals.
