Cecile Becq was born in 1979 in Frejus, France. She studied fine art in Provence and Lyon, and has now settled in Grenoble to do what she has always wanted to do: write and illustrate books for children. Her first book was published in 2007. She is illustrating Puss in Boots and Cinderella for the Once Upon a Timeless Tale series for Little Hare. Cecile is also an exhibiting fine-arts practitioner.
